The museum is situated at No. 279 Donghe East Road, Zhihe Town, Pengzhou City. It covers an area of 1,201.42㎡, of which the five exhibition halls occupy 600㎡. The museum also has two lounges. It consists of four departments: Administration Office, Security Department, Collection Management Department and Operation Center. The museum has more than 300 objects, mainly collecting, exhibiting and researching valuable Traditional Chinese medicines materials, TCM decoction pieces, Chinese medicinal artifacts, books and modern TCM products.

On January 28, 2023, the Office of the Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued the "List of the Third Batch of Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Propaganda and Education Bases", and after the inspection and evaluation by many parties, Sichuan Neo-Green Pharmaceutical Technology Development Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as NGP) was officially approved by the third batch of "Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Publicity and Education Base".

TCM is a great invention of the Chinese nation and a unique treasure in the world's medical treasury. Inheriting and carrying forward the traditional Chinese medicine culture of the motherland for thousands of years with modern science and technology, and focusing on the research and development and production of high-quality modernized and innovative Chinese medicines is the unchanging original heart and mission of NGP, and also the original intention of the construction of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum of NGP.
